• I’m sure it must be daunting if you’ve never had a photoshoot or even just a professional photo taken before, but I’m here to help!
• Feel free to browse my website and FAQs to help answer any questions or give you ideas. If you have any issues or concerns, please feel free to get in touch.
• During the planning of all photoshoots, you will have direct correspondence with me via email to ask any questions or discuss any ideas you have.
• For larger projects, I welcome and encourage in-person or video call consultations, where timeline and availability allow. I may require a small fee to cover my time and travel.
• Of course not! Although it is incredibly helpful.
• I will always endeavour to do my best to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, give advice, and help where necessary.
• My rates start at £150; prices are inclusive of editing time for the agreed number of photos.
• An estimate will be provided upon consultation with me.
• If you are simply looking for a quote, please make this clear upon first contact with me, along with the details of what you are looking for.
• Although I don’t offer any standing discounts, deals or a specific charity rate, I will always endeavour to work within your budget and provide the best experience and result possible.
• I may occasionally advertise discounts on social media; these will usually be time and date-dependent as they are likely due to cancellations. Speed in booking is essential for deals, so don’t hesitate to contact me.
• To secure the date for your photoshoot, you must pay a non-refundable deposit.
• Full payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice being sent; I process final invoices when I receive your photo selection from the contact sheet.
• I don’t send out the finished photos until I have received full payment.
• Of course I can.
• It is best that you have an idea of some poses and types of images that you would like. I am always happy to help with posing and creative ideas.
• Please feel free to look through my portfolio for ideas.
• Yes, please! I’m a photographer, not a hairstylist or makeup artist. Please arrive with it done, unless you would like to add extra time to allow you to have the time to do this on location.
• If something goes wrong before or during the photoshoot, I’ll try to help, but I can’t make any guarantees. For this reason, please bring along your makeup and hair products.
• If you plan on bringing a hairstylist or makeup artist with you or need assistance booking one before the shoot, that’s fine, please just let me know beforehand.
• Yes, of course, especially if it makes you more comfortable.
• Please let me know who and how many people you plan on bringing with you. Some locations may not be able to accommodate excessive amounts of people; 1 or 2 is usually more than enough.
• Please note that, unless arranged in advance, they will not be able to feature in any of the photos.
• Absolutely. I strive to create a safe and judgment-free environment at all of my photoshoots. I pride myself on being a strong ally to the LGBTQIA+ and SW’er communities, and I’m open to and work with people from all walks of life.
• I do NOT allow bookings from bigots, TERFs and generally phobic people. I will reject them and will deny any future booking attempts.
• If you or your accompanying party make any Derogatory or generally phobic comments during the photoshoot, I reserve the right to end the photoshoot immediately. I will still require full payment, but these actions automatically forfeit any photos already taken; no refunds will be given, and future bookings will be rejected.
• This very much depends on where the photoshoot will take place. Generally, after introducing myself, we will start with a quick discussion to go over the plan and what we discussed during the consultation, giving you some time to settle in and feel comfortable.
• After this, I will make any adjustments, and if you have brought along a hair stylist and or makeup artist, they can do their work here too.
• We will start with some test shots so that I can adjust settings and lighting. This is a perfect time for you to practice poses and test ideas you’ve had without the pressure of them being the final photos. You’ll be able to see the photos before we move on to the main photoshoot.
• Now that all of that is out of the way, we’ll finally be able to start shooting! Throughout our emails, consultations, and on the day, I’ll have gone over posing tips, hints and ideas. So now it’s your chance to try them out.
• Within a week of your photoshoot, I will send you a watermarked contact sheet of your photos for you to make your selection.
• My standard turnaround time is 6 to 8 weeks.
• I do offer a fast-tracked option at an additional cost. You must arrange this prior to the photoshoot taking place, and it is a minimum of 1-week post-photoshoot. Please see the Fast-tracked Service section in my policies for further information.
• It is your responsibility to make me aware of any deadlines you need the photos by prior to the photoshoot taking place.
• If you select more than the predetermined number of photos when choosing from your contact sheet, it may not be possible to fast-track the additional photos. They will incur additional costs and time for delivery.
• Photoshoots can range from taking only an hour to a full day or even multiple days, depending on the project.
• During your consultation, I will advise you on how long your photoshoot will take, and I will provide an estimated schedule along with your estimate.
• Selling prints or digital copies of the photos from our shoot is not allowed unless arranged with me in advance.
• Please see the Licensing & Use of Images section in my policies.
• I carefully edit every photo from your photoshoot to reflect my style and high standards of work. Due to this, I ask you to refrain from adding filters, crops, additional edits to your photos or using Face tune or similar apps with them. Standard Instagram cropping is fine, but it should be avoided where possible.
• The use of AI with any of my images is strictly prohibited.
• If I am made aware or notice an image has been shared with any alterations, I will politely get in touch and ask that it be removed and replaced with the original.
• Of course, where locations allow, music is always welcome.
• Please note that at many outdoor locations, this will not be possible.
• Of course you can, if anything, I encourage it!

• I carefully edit all final images to keep in line with my art style.
• I use editing, retouching and post-processing to enhance your natural beauty without the use of any AI tools. For retouching, I follow a rule of removing only things that would naturally be gone within a few weeks (e.g., blemishes, cuts, bruises, spots, stray hairs). I will do this without the need for you to request it. Please do let me know if you would not like it. Please note, I do not provide retouching or body reshaping that promotes unrealistic standards. If you have any specific requests, please just ask.
